We believe in the power of brands. Brands are authentic. Brands tell a story. Brands are forms of self-expression. Brands connect people with shared beliefs. Brands inspire us. Brands capture value.
When it comes to durable goods, the consumer has many choices. Positioning your brand effectively is the key to brand recognition and long term value creation. At HD Trade Services (HDTS), we combine local market expertise and distribution technology to empower leading consumer product companies to profitably and quickly gain brand recognition and market share in foreign markets. Our core focus is helping industry leading Chinese brands with United States market development.
We believe teamwork and technology will transform global commerce.
We also believe great consumer products companies should have access to millions of consumers. We believe that, with the right combination of local market expertise and technological innovation, consumer product companies can become global market leaders with minimal costs of time and money.
Dynamic platforms provide you with exposure to consumers through many distribution channels.
HDTS offers the only dynamic platform for foreign suppliers selling into the United States. Our dynamic platform is not a destination website. Rather, it is an application programming interface (API) that introduces products to relevant consumers through a powerful mix of distribution channels. We leverage spending, browsing, and demographic data, to serve relevant products to consumers and businesses across major touch points - online marketplaces, mobile, social, flash deals, sms, email, and traditional retail. The result is increased sales, brand recognition, and brand loyalty.
When you satisfy demand in a memorable way, you are able to earn brand recognition and loyalty.
In today’s world of eCommerce and the expectation of instant satisfaction of demand, we believe suppliers should position their products closer to their channel partners and end consumers. We’ve created a simple program to coordinate the transport of your inventory to HDTS-approved 3rd party fulfillment centers in the United States. We integrate with fulfillment solutions to ensure inventory is available, and orders from multiple sales channels are fulfilled accurately. We start with small quantities and use our distribution channels to test consumer demand for your products. We scale the amount of your inventory based on consumer demand - we call this the demand chain. We even pay your storage and fulfillment fees.
Getting your message in front of relevant consumers and influencers is the key to accelerated brand recognition.
Through our close relationships with influential investors, executives and organizations, we have developed relationships with senior executives, editors and contributors of many leading media publications. We use these relationships to bring your brand to relevant consumers and influencers. As we continue to grow we will continue to intensively develop relationships with industry-specific media.
We believe teamwork and technology will transform global commerce. We place an emphasis on teamwork, both within HDTS and with our clients and partners.
Great people are the foundation of great teams. At HDTS, we work with people who believe in challenging the status quo. We work with people who have ambitions for their company to become a global market leader. We work with companies whose people exemplify the underlying capability, culture, passion, creativity, and dedication needed to achieve greatness on a global scale.
HDTS is backed by Y Combinator, Silicon Valley's foremost investor in innovative and disruptive business models.
What has grown into HDTS all started back in 2008, when Daniel "Danny" Sperling-Horowitz was importing electronics from suppliers he discovered on Alibaba.com. He was shocked by the common occurrence of scam and quality uncertainty. Most people will focus on the pain this has caused Western buyers, but Danny thought about it from a different perspective. He recognized that the trust gap that exists has prevented legitimate suppliers from achieving their true potential to become global market leaders.
Danny and Co-Founders Dan Sugarman, and Matthew Thomas have re-imagined the way in which great suppliers are discovered and introduced to international markets. Their goal is not simply to make an incremental improvement, but to introduce a fundamentally better solution that represents a 10x improvement to the status quo. In order to accomplish this vision, the foundation of a world class team of marketers and technologists needed to be built. The HDTS team is a diverse and dynamic group of professionals who share the belief that teamwork and technology will transform global commerce.
